From your Office Cisco Phone
To forward calls on your primary line to another number:
Press the Fwd Allsoftkey.
Enter a phone number to forward all calls.
To forward to another Purdue Cisco number, enter “#” plus the 5-digit number. (“#” makes a forwarded call that is missed on the new line to be sent to new line voicemail, not the original voicemail. This is helpful if one of your co-workers is covering for you while you are out of the office. For example, Employee A is out of the office, but they have a back up, Employee B. If Employee A forwarded their phone to Employee B with “#”, then if Employee B steps away from their desk and misses a call that was forwarded from Employee A, the call will go to Employee B’s voicemail. Otherwise, the missed call would revert to Employee A’s voicemail.)
Example – to forward to 44370, you would enter: # 44370
To forward to phones with a 765 area code, enter “7” plus the 7-digit number.
Example – to forward to (765) 555-1212, you would enter: 7 5551212.
To forward to phones with any other area code, enter “7 1” plus the full 10-digital number.
Example - to forward to (317) 555-1212, you would enter: 7 1 3175551212.
Look for confirmation of the forward on your phone display.
