How to Access Decision Tools - @Risk/Precision Tree

To access @Risk (Decision Tools) you must first sign-in to our Virtual Apps. Instructions for accessing our Virtual Apps can be found here.

Once signed in you will find @Risk under the Office 365 (Office 2019) Folder.

After Launching @Risk the first time you will be prompted to sign-in. It is very important that you sign-in to Office when you are prompted. If you do not sign-in then @Risk will not work.

Once you have signed in the first time you must close Excel and then re-open it. This will allow @Risk to load the next time you launch it.

Important Notes/Limitations

  • There is currently no way to open or save a file directly from/to your local hard drive.  Most will need to use their ITaP W: drive to open/save/transfer files.  Krannert Faculty, Staff, PhD, and Master's Students can use their Krannert U: or V: drives instead. Instructions for mapping the W:, U: or V: are located here.
